Following an initial online workshop presented in November 2024, which brought together my first two Photoshop courses dedicated to floral art (floral art and floral art creative tools), I am now offering the second part of the workshop. It includes my two most recent courses on this theme (creative floral art and creative floral art part 2).

In this new online workshop, Creative Floral Art – Part 2, which is completely different from the previous one, you will learn how to create unique and artistic floral compositions. You will discover how to use Photoshop to transform images of flowers into true works of art.

The concept here is to create beautiful artistic compositions featuring flowers of different colors that seem to dance gracefully against a light and bright, almost ethereal background. Backgrounds will sometimes be added. A delicate blur effect surrounds the flowers and their stems, giving them a sense of movement and softness, as if they were swaying in a spring breeze. The overall effect is poetic, light, and dreamlike, evoking the renewal and delicacy of nature.

What you will learn during the two sessions :

✅ Cutting and selection techniques to isolate flowers with precision

✅ Creating flowers

✅ Use of layers and blending modes for artistic effects

✅ Creating harmonious floral compositions

✅ Creating backgrounds

✅ Applying backgrounds

✅ Creating lights and special effects for an artistic look

✅ Detailed study of the use of multiple motion and blur effects

Methodology:

• Real-time demonstrations with practical exercises
• Source files provided to practice at your own pace

Use of plugins:

Although they are not absolutely necessary for this course, I will show you some additional possibilities through the use of plugins. If you don’t have them, you can download the trial versions. They can be installed in Photoshop filters.

Boris FX Optics: This software specializes in creating visual effects. It contains a large number of filters, all of which can be modified, offering almost endless possibilities.

Flood 2: This plugin allows you to create water reflections. It is very easy to use and allows you to create interesting effects.

Nik Collection: This suite of software is well known to photographers. I will show you how to use several filters that are not always well known.
